Santa will make a grand entrance to East Kilbride Shopping Centre this Sunday (November 20th) with a fantastic ice show and festive parade!
As Santa makes his way towards his Ice Mountain Grotto, he will be welcomed by some of the county's leading ice skaters in a breathtaking display at 12pm.
Accompanied by East Kilbride Pipe Band, the festive parade will travel through the mall to the Ice Mountain Grotto where children can meet Santa and get a special gift and their photo taken with him too!
There will be more displays at 1:30pm and 3pm hosted by Clyde One DJs Gavin Pearson and Gina McKie! Throughout the day there will be a host of acts from Glasgow walkabout performance company Mischief La Bas! These wacky entertainers take on many manifestations including The Elvis Cleaning Company, The Nervous Forest, Snow Queen and The Paparazzi.
East Kilbride's Shopping Centre Director, Nick Peel said:

In the run up to Christmas, East Kilbride Shopping Centre is keen to make things easier for shoppers with the introduction of special promotions and events. Thursday 1st December is Big Save Day with over 70 stores staying open until 9pm. Parking at the mall will be free and there will also be a free gift wrapping service!
Santa's Ice Mountain Grotto opening times
The Grotto will be open during the Centre's opening hours (with the exception of Sunday 20th Nov - opens at 2pm) from 20th November to Christmas Eve.
