A LADIES’ charity fundraising cabaret in the Cambuslang Institute has raised over £2500.

For they raised the tremendous sum of £2637.50 for the Kilbryde Hospice Appeal.

The local ladies in the community dug deep on the evening for the cause.

Gordon McHugh and Family and Stephen Grassie provided the cabaret on the night, with assistance from John Edgar, Liz Watson, Joan McLean and Pam Clearie.

Councillors, MSPs, Strathclyde Fire and Rescue, Strathclyde Police and the general public all made kind donations to the raffle, Central Cambuslang Tenants and Residents Association and Springhall Tenants and Residents Association gave generous cheques, and the staff at the Cambuslang Institute played their part in a great team effort.
