She said: “The result of this conviction will be serious. It will have serious long-term consequences for you and your business and I take account of that because the disqualification part of the sentence will be a significant punishment in itself.
“I do take into account you have restricted financial circumstances and I take account you have tendered a plea without the necessity of this matter going to trial.”
Favaretto must also sit an enhanced driving test before he can obtain a licence.
The court heard Favaretto took over the family fabrication business after his dad passed away in 2008 was out on his bike around 8.50pm when he was seen by officers.
Procurator fiscal depute Dorothy Roy told the court that within the police vehicle they had a fitted calibrated speedometer.
She said police spotted the motorcycle driving at excessive speeds, overtaking another vehicle and moving from lane to lane.
Police followed Favaretto and pulled him over, he made no reply to caution and charge.
It was said on his behalf that he does not have his bike anymore but that when he did he rode it at the weekends as a hobby.
