Three men have been charged after police seized heroin with a street value of £50,000.
The men, aged 60, 42 and 28, have been reported to the procurator fiscal after officers from Fife Constabulary discovered drugs in a vehicle on the Standing Stane road near Kirkcaldy on Saturday.
Detective Chief Inspector Ross Bennett said: "This seizure is one of several operations Fife Constabulary has successfully carried out.
"It was thanks to the support and information provided by local people."
