A search for a person who is believed to have fallen into a river is continuing.
Police, coastguard and mountain rescue teams were alerted after a reported sighting of someone falling into the River Annan, in the Everholm area of Annan, in Dumfries and Galloway, at about 6.30pm on Sunday.
Dumfries and Galloway Constabulary said boat searches of the river were carried out while a helicopter flew over the area.
A shoreline search from Everholm to the river mouth at Solway was also undertaken by police and Moffat Mountain Rescue Team.
The teams were stood down for the night as nothing was found.
A police spokesman said: "It is anticipated that the search will continue at full light, taking into consideration the tide times and river conditions."
Police asked anyone who may have information to contact them on 0845 600 5701.
