Police name motorway body girl, 15

A teenage girl whose body was found on a motorway has been named by police.

Anna Johnson, 15, from the Stirling area, was discovered by a passing motorist at about 7am on Tuesday on the M9 close to Bannockburn interchange.

The road was closed for several hours northbound between junctions nine and ten while police carried out an investigation.

Officers from Central Scotland Police are appealing to anyone who was travelling in the area between 6.15am and 7am to contact them on .
