Mother of four 'always had smile'

17:25, Nov 9 2012

The family of a mother of four found dead in the early hours of Thursday has paid tribute to her, saying "she always had a smile on her face".

Kim Campbell, 41, was found dead at an address in High School View in Elgin, Moray, at about 3.15am.

She had four children and two grandchildren.

In a statement released through Grampian Police, her family said: "Kim was a loving daughter, sister, mother and grandmother. Her sudden loss has left a huge hole in our lives that we will never be able to fill.

"Kim was born, brought up and went to school in Lossiemouth. About 10 years ago she moved to the Elgin area.

"Kim was a genuine, kind and loving woman who loved her family and friends and was well-liked in the local community. She always had a smile on her face and was always willing to help friends and family.

"She left us far too soon, however, we as a family have been left with many happy memories."

They also thanked family and friends for their support and kind thoughts.

Police have arrested a 55-year-old man in the Dallas area of Elgin in connection with the death.

A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
