Man, 21, charged in murder probe

A man has been charged by police in connection with the murder of a frail pensioner in his own home. Robert Simpson, 67, was found dead at his property in Mayfield Drive in Armadale, West Lothian, on Saturday October 6. Lothian and Borders Police said that a 21-year-old man has been charged in connection with his death. He is expected to appear at Livingston Sheriff Court on Monday.
