A retired salesman is headed for his dream holiday to Buenos Aires after scooping £1 million in a EuroMillions draw.
Keen traveller Leslie Campbell, from Dunblane, Stirling, said he will use his winter winnings to jet to warmer climes.
The Argentinian capital is on his hit list after sharing some of the cash with his son, also Leslie, and daughter Lhora.
Widower Mr Campbell, 68, won the seven-figure sum in the EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle in the draw on December 11.
He said of the moment he discovered he had hit the jackpot: "I never expect to win anything - if I get one number I think I'm doing well - but I thought I better check just in case.
"When I saw I had the winning combination I got straight on the phone to the National Lottery to make sure."
He added: "I've always enjoyed travelling round the world. My son lives overseas and has been kind enough to bring me over to visit him, so I hope to repay his kindness.
"I've long had a notion for going to Buenos Aires but a pension doesn't leave much for extravagances, so that's a definite on my to-do list.
"Both of my children will be beneficiaries of the win too - it will be a great Christmas for us."
