Two offers for a closure-threatened meat processing plant employing about 1,700 people will be reviewed over the weekend.
Food group Vion, which owns Hall's of Broxburn, said the offers were made before Friday's noon deadline passed.
An announcement about the future of the factory, which produces the world's biggest-selling haggis, is expected early next week.
A spokesman for Vion said on Friday: "We can confirm that we received two offers for the Hall's site prior to today's deadline. In addition, one note of interest in the site was withdrawn.
"At this stage, due to commercial confidentiality, we are unable to confirm their identity or the details of the bids.
