Drivers warned of snow and ice

Motorists have been warned of icy conditions on Scotland's roads as freezing temperatures take hold over large parts of the country.
Lighter snow showers have been forecast after Tuesday's blizzards but sub-zero temperatures mean wet or slushy routes will be liable to icing.
The mercury could plummet as low as -6 C in the Borders and -2 C in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Conditions will start off icy across Strathclyde and Lanarkshire can expect snow flurries, according to the Met Office.
Scattered snowfall is also forecast in Aberdeenshire and over Caithness and Sutherland.

Temperatures in Aberdeen and Inverness will reach between -1 and -3 C.
It means a second day of hazardous conditions for drivers after heavy snow and gales battered many parts of Scotland on Tuesday.
Around 20 heavy goods vehicles and several cars become stranded on the A697 in the Borders and had to be freed by snow ploughs.
Dozens of schools in the region were shut and a further 50 were closed in the north east.
Five centimetres of snow was recorded in Aboyne, Aberdeenshire, on Tuesday, and 4cm fell between midnight and 6am in Aviemore.
