A woman has been arrested in connection with the death of a 59-year-old woman who was found dead at a house.
Emergency services were called to the property in Old Coach Road, East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire, at around 10.45pm on Wednesday following reports that the woman was injured.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 61-year-old woman has been arrested and is currently being held in custody in connection with her death, Strathclyde Police said.
She is expected to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Monday.
