Pair questioned over shooting death

Two men have been arrested in connection with the death of a man who died after he was shot in a village street. John Finnegan, 48, died in hospital after a shooting incident in Bank Street, Neilston, East Renfrewshire, on October 27. Strathclyde Police said two men, aged 32 and 35, have been arrested and detained in police custody in connection with the death. A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal. The men are expected to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday.
