The Scottish Government is to team up with the building industry in a bid to help more people get on the property ladder and boost the housing sector.
Housing Minister Alex Neil will unveil details of the new £2.5 million trial scheme next week.
The pilot project will be part of the existing Low-cost Initiative for First Time Buyers, which aims to help those on low to moderate incomes purchase their home.
