AN ART exhibition with a difference is to kick off at Glasgow's Gaia Gallery this weekend (Sunday 28 November).

Music and art lovers will be flocking to the Butterfly and the Pig for a special performance from Scotland's best tribute act Them Beatles.

They will be kicking-off proceedings for a truly unique celebration of art. Guests will then make their way up the winding staircase to Gaia gallery to admire and snap up the work of the world's best rock portraits.

Featuring works depicting David Bowie, Kurt Cobain,  Bob Marley and Elvis to name but a few, these works are unique and must have for that special Christmas gift.

Co-owner of Gaia, Federico Martone is looking forward to the event, he said: “This is an event for lovers of performance and visual arts.

“It’s a unique opportunity to take in the country’s best tribute act and purchase a specialised and affordable artwork of your favourite rock star – just in time for Christmas!”

The exhibition which starts at 4pm on Sunday will run through to Christmas.
