“We have been stretched to say the least but I’m hoping Robert Walker and Jamie McKenzie will come into contention soon.”
Rovers were due to play Stranraer last night and have another test at home on Saturday when play-off chasing Montrose visit Cliftonhill.
The Coatbridge club are 13 points off a play-off spot themselves but McCormack believes his side have an outside chance of making a late run into the top four.
He added: “Montrose will be a tough game but we’ll just keep plugging away and see where that takes us. There is no shortage of effort from the players and if we go on a run, who knows what could happen.”
