A NEWLY-formed youth football team have won the backing of a local hairdressing salon.
Airdrie United 99s will sport new strips sponsored by Glamour Kuts during their debut season.
The boys wore the kits for the first time when they took part in the CKSDA tournament in Grangemouth. It seems their bright new look had the desired effect as they went through the competition undefeated.
But not only will the boys have the salon’s logo emblazoned across their shirts, the boys and coaches will get free hair cuts as part of the deal.
Glamour Kuts also donated prizes for the club’s race night which helped raise a healthy sum for the club’s coffers.
Coach Chrisy Gallacher expressed his gratitude to Glamour Kuts and wished the players every success in the forthcoming season.
Any youngster born in 1999 who would like to play a trial for the team can find out more by contacting Chrisy on 01236 604269.
