Situated in Lanark's Wellgate, La Vigna restaurant has been serving up the finest Italian food since 1983. The restaurant, which can accommodate 30 people, is open for lunch and dinner with the average main course costing £20 - £30.
Restaurant manager Mr Barblli said of the cuisine: "We have many fine dishes but a personal favourite has to be choosing your own live lobster from a fish tank that we have."
The restaurant has a very traditional look with classic varnished pine throughout and eight tables all around the walls. There is also a cocktail bar area for when you arrive in the restaurant and it is strongly advised to reserve a table before arrival.
