Baxters Country Inn is a great place for breakfast, lunch and dinner if you're travelling or if you are simply looking for a relaxed countryside restaurant.
It's on the road between Glasgow and Ayrshire near the picturesque town of Strathaven and is set near the ancient battleground of Drumclog which witnessed a bloody battle in 1679.
The family-run inn is convenient for both Glasgow and East Kilbride and offers fresh local produce, a lounge bar, beds, restaurant, gift shop and both indoor and outdoor children's play area.
The Baxters Country Inn generally serves traditional Scottish food with some European dishes also available.
